Embattled forward Mason Greenwood will not be selected for Three Lions of England by Gareth Southgate, even though the striker has refused to change his allegiance to Jamaica.
Mason Greenwood has not dashed his hopes of his Three Lions aspiration, in spite of not being on good terms with Gareth Southgate.
The attacker currently awaits Manchester United’s position if he would be re-integrated into the team after the allegations of attempted rape, assault, controlling and coercive behavior levelled against him were put to bed in February 2023.
Jamaica FA Boss says Mason Greenwood has a very bright future ahead of him
The head of the Football Federation of Jamaica, Dennis Chung stated: “He is only 21 and so has a very bright future ahead of him and I think he will add value to any team he is on.”
Nevertheless, Greenwood is focused on reviving his career with the Three Lions of England after featuring for the senior national team at the age of 18.
Mason Greenwood made his debut against Iceland in a 1-0 victory for England in the UEFA Nations League in 2020.
