Mason Greenwood might not play for England again under Gareth Southgate


    Embattled forward Mason Greenwood will not be selected for Three Lions of England by Gareth Southgate, even though the striker has refused to change his allegiance to Jamaica. 

    Mason Greenwood has not dashed his hopes of his Three Lions aspiration, in spite of not being on good terms with Gareth Southgate.

    The attacker currently awaits Manchester United’s position if he would be re-integrated into the team after the allegations of attempted rape, assault, controlling and coercive behavior levelled against him were put to bed in February 2023.

    The head of the Football Federation of Jamaica, Dennis Chung stated: “He is only 21 and so has a very bright future ahead of him and I think he will add value to any team he is on.”

    The forward was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire and he was groomed in the Wibsey area of the city. He has Jamaican roots and his family has an history in sports with his sister, Ashton, being a track athlete.
