A supercomputer has predicted that Arsenal would not drop into the relegation zone at the end of the 2020-2021 season despite going into the boxing day fixture with 4 points away from the drop zone.

The only joy for Arsenal’s fans based on the prediction of the Supercomputer is that Arsenal will not be relegated but the supercomputer has predicted that things would get worse for the London club that is currently placed on the 15th spot on the league table. Based on the prediction, Arsenal would finish a step below their current position. They would end the season on the 16th spot.

This means that if the prediction of the supercomputer is anything to go by, Burnley, Sheffield United, and West Bromwich Albion would be the three clubs that would be relegated at the end of the season.

The supercomputer predicted that Burnley would finish 18th, Sheffield 19, and West Bromwich Albion would finish bottom. This would excite a club like Fulham that is currently occupying the 18th spot but the club is predicted to finish on the 15th spot.

On the other hand, there would be a bit of a shakeup in the top four as the supercomputer predicted that Manchester City would not finish in the top four but on the 8th spot which could be the biggest shock at the end of the season.

Liverpool celebrating the 2019-2020 Premier League title.

The Supercomputer predicted that Liverpool that is currently occupying the top spot on the league table would successfully retain the Premier League title. Based on the prediction, Liverpool would be followed by Leicester City, while Manchester United would settle for the 3rd spot and Chelsea would make do with the 4th.

According to the supercomputer, a club like Tottenham Hotspur that spent some weeks at the top of the league table would not make the top four but would stay as far as the 7th spot on the league table.

While Everton which was like a house on fire especially at the beginning of the season, keeping about 7 games unbeaten run, would not make it into the top four. The club would settle for the 5th spot which might not be a disappointing finish for the Merseyside club.

So, the clubs the supercomputer pleased based on this prediction are Liverpool, Leicester City, and Fulham. Clubs like Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and probably Arsenal would have hoped for a better ranking on the league table.
