Nelson Semedo has joined Premier League side Wolves from Barcelona for a transfer fee worth about £37 million. The 26-year-old Portuguese fullback is seen as a replacement for Matt Doherty who left the club for Tottenham this summer.
“It isn’t often that we have the opportunity to sign a world-class player from a world-class club,” Wolves executive chairman Jeff Shi said.
