Nicolas Pépé’s wife whose real name has not been made public took to her Instagram story to celebrate her husband as he scored his first Premier League goal of the 2020-2021 season for Arsenal.
The Ivory Coast international was in action for Arsenal on Sunday, October 4, 2020. The football star who cost Arsenal £72million in 2019, started from the bench as he couldn’t make Mikel Arteta’s starting eleven against Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium.
The decision to start the club’s most expensive player of all time from the bench paid off greatly and almost looked like a sound tactical decision. First off, Nicolas Pepe was involved in Arsenal’s opening goal of the match in the 61st minute which was scored by Bukayo Saka.
The 25-year-old former Lille star continued to disturb the defense of Sheffield United until the 64th minute when he got his first Premier League goal of the season after playing in Arsenal’s four league games so far.
Though Sheffield United tried to fight back and had the opportunity to put one back in the 84th minute, Nicolas Pepe‘s 64th-minute goal was enough to give Arsenal a 2-1 victory.
After the match, Nicolas Pépé’s wife shared a picture of the right-winger while celebrating the goal. She wrote “La Force” on the picture which is a French phrase meaning “Strength”. Pepe reciprocated the gesture by taking to his Instagram story to share the screenshot of his wife’s post.
However, it was noticed that the stunning woman is not using her real name for her Instagram account. She used Fannny.b as the profile name of the Instagram account which is not verified and has about 3, 456 followers.
Meanwhile, it was not only Nicolas Pépé’s wife that hailed the Ivory Coast’s star, Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta didn’t miss the opportunity to acknowledge how happy he was for Pepe’s contributions to the club’s 2-1 win over Sheffield United.
He said: “I’m really happy for him and the contribution. I demand on matchday to be completely focused and determined to make an impact and that’s what he’s done.”

In one of the pictures, Nicolas Pepe posed with his son wearing a very big smile. He ensured that the photographer did not capture the face of the boy.
While in the second picture, the football star could be seen embracing his wife while he held tight to his son. He also ensured that the face of his wife and son were not captured.
In the caption, the Arsenal football star simply wrote: “loving and blessing”.
