Nicolas Pepe took to his Instagram page a few days after helping Arsenal football club to win the club’s 14th FA Cup title to share a video via his Instagram story showing when he was chilling with his newborn child.

The 25-year-old Cote d’Ivoire winger who just landed his first title after helping Arsenal to defeat Chelsea football club at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday, August 1, could be seen in the video lying down while carrying the baby on his chest.

Recall that on July 4, 2020, Arsenal football club took to their official Twitter handle to announce that Pepe missed their match against Wolverhampton Wanderers because his wife was in labor. Though Arsenal won the match 0-2, the fans of the club were stunned that their new signing already has a wife.

Unlike other celebrities who would always flaunt their lovers and children, Pepe has never posted anything so personal on his Instagram page with over one million followers. Even after the birth of the child, Nicolas Pepe did not announce it or made a big deal out it as other celebrities would do via social media.

The best place he has posted personal stuff related to the child and his wife was via his Instagram story. In fact, the first time he took to his Instagram story to share something about his young family, he used emojis to cover the faces of the child and his wife.

As at last check, there is no information about who the wife of the 25-year-old Arsenal‘s star is nor the name of the newborn child. The actual gender of the child has not been made public over three weeks after the birth of the child. The only two confirmed reports from the former Lille‘s talisman are: he is now a father and he is married.

Nicolas Pepe is expected to do more in 2020-2021 season

Nicolas Pepe was the talk of the Premier League especially in North London when he left his French Ligue 1 team, Lille, to join Arsenal on August 1, 2019, for a transfer fee worth €80 million.

Due to his hefty transfer fee, most fans of the club have been expecting him to do more for the club by scoring more goals as he only managed to score 5 goals and made 6 assists in 31 Premier League matches.

In all competitions, including the FA Cup which Arsenal just won on Saturday, Pepe scored 8 and made 10 assists in 42 appearances. Hence, more would be expected of him in the forthcoming 2020-2021 season as he is now left with 4 years on his current contract with the club to prove that is over £104,877 per-week wages is not a bad investment.
