Luis Suarez Shares Family Time with his fans

Luis Suarez just had one of his most terrible seasons in the Spanish La Liga but that would not stop him from having a beautiful time with his lovely family. The 33-year-old Uruguay forward took to his Instagram page to share with his over 38 million Instagram followers, pictures of a pleasant family time he had recently.

In one of the pictures which the Barcelona superstar shared via his Instagram story, Suarez could be seen carrying his last born, Lauti, on his shoulder. Lauti who was born in 2018, posed like he was asleep when the footballer took the shot.

In the second picture he also shared via his Instagram story, Luis Suarez could be seen dining with all the members of his immediate family. The happy family which consists of his wife, Sofía Balbi, his first child and only daughter, Delfina, and his two sons, Benjamin and Lauti, all gathered around the dining table for a meal.

Luis Suarez and his wife Sofía Balbi are perfect examples of lovers who were destined to be together. Their love story started when the Barcelona star was just 15-year-old. According to reports, Suarez had to leave Uruguay to Europe in order to reunite with Sofía whose family moved to Barcelona in 2003.

Sofía was practically Suarez‘s major inspiration to do well in football and his effort finally paid off when he got married to her in 2009 while he was playing at Ajax. In less than a year of marriage, Sofía gave birth to Delfina in 2010. Three years later, Benjamin arrived and in 2018, the last child, Lauti was born.

The family of five spend most of their free time together in their mansion in Spain since Suarez left Premier League club, Liverpool, in 2014 and joined Barcelona.

Luis Suarez’s terrible 2019-2020 season

Luis Suarez is arguably one of the best players in the Spanish La Liga as he has proven every season that he is one of the best in the world. The Uruguayan who is the 4th all-time highest goalscorer at Barcelona had a terrible season in the just concluded 2019-2020 season.

The 33-year-old striker was heavily criticized for his consistent number of open net misses he suffered in the just-concluded season. He missed so many goalscoring opportunities that some football fans had to do a video of his outrageous misses.

Unfortunately for his strike partner, Lionel Messi who had one of the best seasons in terms of the number of assists (22) he made, Suarez effort this season could not complement his. Hence, the ended the season losing the La Liga title to Real Madrid.

At the end of the season, Suarez managed to score 16 goals and made 8 assists in 28 appearances in La Liga alone. While he scored 19 goals and made 12 assists in 34 games in all competitions.
