Lionel Messi has reportedly told Barcelona football club that he is ready to leave the club in this summer transfer window, less than a year to the expiration of his current contract with the club. The 33-year-old Argentina forward who has spent all his career in Barcelona said this after the team suffered their worst defeat in UEFA Champions League. They were knocked out of the quarter-final stage of the competition via a humiliating 8-2 defeat in the hands of Bayern Munich.
