The 24-year-old forward has received bids from both Juventus and Barcelona. According to reports, Rashford is considering leaving Manchester United in order to resurrect his career.

Since his debut in 2016, Marcus Rashford has been one of Manchester United’s best players. During the 2019–20 season, he had a breakout season, scoring 23 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions.

Last season, the forward improved year after year, scoring 21 goals and adding 15 assists in 57 appearances for the Red Devils. He was instrumental in the club finishing second in the Premier League and reaching the Europa League final.

Due to a shoulder injury, Rashford has missed the first two months of this season. The 24-year-old has struggled to find form since his return to action, and he currently appears to be lacking confidence.

In 31 appearances, he has only scored five goals. In recent weeks, the striker has slipped behind Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga in the Old Trafford pecking order. Due to his massive fall from grace and lack of regular playing time, the forward is rethinking his future with Manchester United.

Barcelona is rumored to be interested in bringing the Englishman to the Catalan club. Catalan giants Barcelona are preparing for Ousmane Dembele’s possible departure. Rashford’s contract with the club is set to expire at the end of the season, and he has so far turned down the chance to extend it.

Juventus, on the other hand, may see the Manchester United star as a potential replacement for Paulo Dybala. The club announced that after failing to reach an agreement on a contract extension, the 28-year-old will leave this summer. His deal with the team is up at the end of the season.

Despite his disappointing 2021–22 season, Manchester United is likely to want to keep Marcus Rashford. The Red Devils are anticipating the departure of a number of forwards this summer.

Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard are expected to leave the club after their contracts expire at the end of the season. Anthony Martial also joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the season during the January transfer window. This summer, he could look for a permanent move away from the club.
