After topping their group, the Premier League side advanced directly to the last-16.

Rangers had to make it through the round of 32 and beat Borussia Dortmund 6-4 on aggregate over two legs to reach this stage for the third year in a row.

The first legs will be played on March 10th, followed by the second legs on March 17th.

David Moyes’ Hammers will begin their campaign in Spain, while Rangers will begin at home at Ibrox.

Sevilla, who won the competition for the first time in the 2019-20 season, will host the final at their Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

In other news, Barcelona has been drawn against Turkish club Galatasaray.

Spartak Moscow will face RB Leipzig in the first round. The location of the second leg of that tie is unknown because Spartak, the last Russian team left in European competition, is unable to play at home due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Russia has also been stripped of the 2022 Champions League final, which will be played in Paris rather than St Petersburg.
