‘I am linking up with my teammates’, says Bruno Fernandes who is not willing to talk about Pogba partnership

    Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has said that he is linking up with all his teammates and not only Paul Pogba.

    Many have been looking forward to the combination of Fernadwez and Pogba in the middle of the park for the Red Devils, and the glimpse was seen in Man Utd 1-1 draws against Tottenham Hotspurs.

    The partnership was finally visible against Brighton, which the Red Devils romped 3-0 in the Premier League last night, and Fernadez got his name on the score sheet. Man Utd is now two points behind the last qualifying team for the UEFA Champions League.

    Speaking after the match,  the midfielder stressed that there is no need to talk too much about his combination with Pogba after he helped Manchester United to the crucial win.

    The floodgate of goals opened for United at Falmer Stadium through Mason Greenwood, who scored with a lovely finish in the 16th minute, and Fernandes doubled their lead in the 29th minute. They later linked up for United’s third, and the midfielder through Greenwood’s cross volleyed home the ball to take the game beyond their hosts.

    With the brace, Fernandes, since his January move from Sporting Lisbon, has scored six goals fr Man United 13 matches.

    Since his move to the club, the Red Devils seemed to have found their mojo after struggling to get results. The team played some delightful football with Pogba’s return from injury as well after linking up with Fernandes.

    While stating that the focus shouldn’t be on the pairing of him and Pogba, the Portugal star told Sky Sports that he is happy to play with the team as they can combine and get results.

    Manchester United will be pushing for the top four with this reinvigorated form that has seen the team win two of their last four games since the restart of the League after the coronavirus break.

    They are also having a good run i the FA Cup after ousting Norwich to set up a meeting with Chelsea in the semi-final.
