Marcus Rashford seems to have lost his cool on the constant stream of criticisms by the media this season.

The England forward brandished the criticisms as an ‘abuse’ as he blew hot, calling an end to them.

Replying to a fan who was showing concern and empathy for the embattled forward, the 26-year-old wrote on X, “It is abuse and has been for months. Enough is enough.”

The fan who pricked the furious outburst from the footie ace had written, “The way Marcus Rashford has been treated is absolutely disgusting. It’s cruel. It’s abuse.”

Rashford was phenomenal for Manchester United last season, recording his all-time highest goal tally for Manchester United (30) in a season.

This season has been a far cry from last season for the England forward. Sharing in the club’s dwindling fortunes, Rashford has struggled in front of goals.

He has managed 7 Premier League goals with 2 assists in 31 appearances for the club. His less-than-stellar campaign with the Red Devils has been marred further with off-field controversies.

In January, the footballing sensation stoked reactions after footage of his night-long tequila bender in Belfast went viral.

He failed to turn up for Man United training the next day, feigning sickness which led to his exclusion from United’s next match.

Meanwhile, a poor performance in United’s 1-0 Premier League loss to Newcastle United also saw the forward dropped by United manager Erik ten Hag in the next two matches.

He was also criticized by Erik ten Hag for hosting a lavish and wild birthday party, a day after Manchester United lost the Manchester Derby to cross-city rivals Manchester City.

This and many more has made the player put up with a barrage of criticisms for apparently not doing enough for the Man United badge.
