What Unai Emery Said After Aston Villa qualified for the 2024/25 Champions League
A picture had been circulating on social media showing how overjoyed Unai Emery was after it was confirmed that Aston Villa would be playing in the Champions League next season.
After the club end of the season party, he said, “It’s a very special day today. It’s our dream; it was our dream when we started the season to be here.”
“Of course, I’m very, very, very happy and very proud of you, the players, and everybody. I want to enjoy more, and, next year, the new challenge starts for us.”
“To build a team again, we must be strong enough to go and always increase our level. This is our objective, and always it’s trying to enjoy with you, the supporters; you are the heart of the club.”
Aston Villa will play their last match against in-form Crystal Palace on May 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
Unai Emery may decide to give youngsters a chance to prove themselves against the Eagles because the game against the London team is not that important.
