West Ham Eyes €32m Striker Krzysztof Piatek

West Ham is keen on signing a new striker and unwanted AC Milan Striker Krzysztof Piatek fits their description. It is understood that Mourinho is also interested, being Harry Kane will be out for sometime due to Hamstring injury. West Ham have made contact with Milan, and a possible transfer could be happening in a few days.

The Poland international, who hit 22 goals in 37 Serie A appearances last season, is seemingly on the market this month after just four goals in 18 games this time around.

Rumor circulating suggest, new Milan boss Stefano Pioli has no faith in the 24 year old and Milan are looking to sell the forward this month, just 12 months after he arrived for €35m, plus add-ons from Genoa. It’s also not news that the boss Pioli, has been ecstatic about the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This could also factor in to push Piatek further down the pecking order.

Pioli also was spotted as saying,  Ibrahimovic’s arrival will help stimulate the whole team, who are currently dwindling in 11th position in the Serie A table, and that the Swedish star has a key role to play.

This could leave Krzysztof Piatek to little or no playing time as the boss is banking on his Swedish star to switch things up. West Ham may not be a bad choice as he is sure to get some playing time. Aston Villa are also said to have registered an interest in Piatek, along with Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
