West Ham Complete Signing Of Mohammed Kudus From Ajax, Matteo Guendozi Set To Join Lazio From Olympique Marseille

    West Ham United have reportedly completed the signing of Mohammed Kudus from Ajax for a fee of €44.5 million, with the inclusion of add-ons.

    Kudus has signed a five-year deal with the Hammers, which will see him remain at the club until June 30, 2028.

    He will become the 4th signing for West Ham United this summer, having signed Edson Álvarez, James Ward-Prowse and Konstantinos Mavropanos.

    According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Mohammed Kudus successfully completed his medical tests in London on Saturday, August 26, 2023.

    Romano also added that Kudus’ deal would officially be signed on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

    He made 87 appearances for Ajax last term, scoring 27 goals and providing 12 assists across all competitions.

    Mohammed Kudus joined the Dutch giants from Nordsjaelland on July 31, 2020, for a fee of €9 million.

    West Ham United have been in the market in search of needed additions and Kudus looks to be the perfect fit for their needs in attack.

    The 23-year-old is a versatile player who can play in several positions, including as a center-forward and right-winger.

    He made 42 appearances for Ajax last term, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists across all competitions.

    Mohammed Kudus will become the 8th permanent departure from Ajax this summer, having witnessed the exit of Jurrien Timber, Edson Álvarez, Calvin Bassey, Mohamed Daramy, Youri Regeer, Florian Grillitsch, and Dusan Tadic.

    3 out of the already confirmed 7 departures have also penned deals with Premier League clubs.

    Kudus will be teaming with Edson Alvarez, who also left Ajax to join West Ham United this summer for a fee of €38 million.

    Lazio Agree €18 million deal to sign Matteo Guendozi

    Meanwhile, Lazio have entered into an agreement with Olympique Marseille for the transfer of midfielder Matteo Guendozi.

    Guendozi will be joining the Serie A side for a fee of €18 million, with the inclusion of add-ons.

    Reports indicate that negotiations regarding personal terms is currently being discussed, as both sides want to finalize the deal soon.

    The former Arsenal man has made 108 appearances for Olympique Marseille, scoring 10 goals and providing 19 assists across all competitions.

    Matteo Guendozi is reportedly heading to Lazio

    Matteo Guendozi is set to become the 6th signing for Lazio this summer, having signed Taty Castellanos, Gustav Isaksen, Matteo Cancellieri, Diego González, and Daichi Kamada.

    The 24-year-old is gradually becoming a matured footballer and he has eschewed quality at Olympique Marseille since joining the club permanently on July 1, 2022, for a fee of €11 million.

    Guendozi made 43 appearances for Olympique Marseille last term, scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists across all competitions.

    The France international is a very versatile player who can play in several positions, including; central midfield, defensive midfielde, and attacking midfield.

    Matteo Guendozi has made 7 appearances for France, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist.
