Thibaut Courtois and Mishel Gerzig have taken their relationship to the next level as the footballer proposed marriage to his beautiful Israeli girlfriend in a grand style.
Thibaut Courtois and Mishel took themselves to a holiday resort (Italy’s Amalfi Coast) where the footballer asked the Israeli model to marry him and she said “yes”.
Recalled that Courtois had a superb 2021-2022 season with Real Madrid. He helped the club to win the Spanish Serie A title in the just-concluded season. Aside from that, he was a phenomenon in the UEFA Champions League campaign in which Real Madrid won after defeating Liverpool 1-0.
Hence, the Belgian goalkeeper decided to crown his 2021-2022 season by proposing marriage to the love of his life, Mishel Gerzig.
After saying yes to Thibaut Courtois, Mishel took to her Instagram page to share pictures of the moment the footballer asked her to marry him.
In the first slide of the Instagram post, Mishel was seen standing before the 30-year-old goalkeeper on a cruise boat while resting one of her hands by the neck of the footballer.
In the second slide, the footballer was seen on one of his knees asking the Israeli model to marry him while the beautiful damsel posed stunned as she accepted the ring.
While in the last slide, Thibaut Courtois and Mishel Gerzig could be seen hugging themselves on a cruise boat. The shot was taken after the model had said yes to the footballer.
In the caption, Mishel wrote: “Yessss to a lifetime with you”.
When did Thibaut Courtois and Mishel Gerzig start dating?
Thibaut Courtois and Mishel started dating barely a year ago. Some reports claimed that they started dating after the footballer sent a direct message to the model via Instagram.
While other claimed that their relationship started after they met each other through a friend who happened to know the two lovers long before their union.
Since they started their love affair, Thibaut Courtois and Mishel have been staying in Spain where the footballer currently plays for Real Madrid and Mishel currently works as a model.
Before the love affair between Thibaut Courtois and Mishel Gerzig started, the footballer had two children from a previous relationship named – Adriana Courtois and Nicolas Courtois.
