Multiple Grammy winner Shakira had throw yet another swipe at his ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique by showing her utmost support for Premier League giant Arsenal on social media after the club fans remixed her hit song Waka Waka.
The Arsenal fan remixed the song to create a new chant for the club’s latest signing, Kai Havertz, who scored the first goal for Arsenal from the penalty spot.
The chanting had gotten Shakira’s endorsement. Arsenal fans got the remix and lyrics to Waka Waka, which go, “Tsamina mina, eh eh, Waka Waka, eh,eh, sixty million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again”.
The Colombian took to her Instagram account to send words of encouragement to the North London team after a 4-0 win over Bournemouth on September 30, 2023, at Vitality Stadium.
She posted Arsenal fans singing Kai Havertz’s chant on her Instagram story with the caption “Go Arsenal”. It is unknown whether the chant will be used throughout the season.
Meanwhile, Shakira, who was formerly a Barcelona supporter while she was still dating Pique, visited the Emirate Stadium to watch Arsenal defeat Manchester United on September 3, 2023.
It was the fourth game of the season which was filled with intensity and drama.
Alejandro Garnacho scored a goal that was later disallowed for offside. Gabriel Jesus secured the three points in the 90+11 minutes.
Shakira wasted no time in sharing her experience at the Emirate Stadium on her Instagram page, showing fans her post-match celebration with a heart-eye emoji.
Since the end of her relationship with former Barcelona center back Pique, she has always been in the headlines, throwing constant jabs at the father of her children.

Also, she shared a snap of her music video for her latest track, El Jefe. Shakira was also spotted calling the Spanish defender “empty”.
Shakira and Pique spilitted last year after 12 years of being together after it was discovered that Pique had an affair thanks to a jar of strawberry jam.
However, the cheating claim was not confirmed by Pique himself.
It was revealed that Pique has plans to wed his new girlfriend, Clara Chia, and is ready to announce his engagement very soon.
Shakira dropped a lot of diss songs and has been rumored to have moved on with Multiple A-lister.
It was rumored that Shakira was dating Lewis Hamilton, and others claimed she is currently dating Tom Cruise.
Hamilton and Shakira were first spotted at the Miami Grand Prix and proceeded to share dinner after that.
Tom Cruise had been in a close relationship with the Colombian star before she got involved with Hamilton.
