Chelsea will be traveling to the Brammal Lane with the hope of getting maximum points in the Premier League clash against impressive Sheffield United that has been good at home.

Recall that the reverse fixture of this encounter ended in a dramatic 2-2 draw after the Blues went ahead 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge. With both teams coming from the back of wins, it could be said to be an interesting encounter.

With Champions League qualification on sight, Chelsea will be hoping to maintain the third spot at least. This could also affect Sheffield’s quest for the Europa League spot.

Sheffield United Vs Chelsea

Sheffield that sniffed out a 1-0 win against another in-form team Wolves on this ground three days ago will be looking to smile again against the Blues.

What could stop Chelsea against Sheffield?

One of the biggest problems of Chelsea is its penchant for concerning goals. Last time, the Blues had to sniff out a slim 3-2 win over Crytal Palace at Selhurst Park.

This and more are the same issues that the team has been dealing with four games left. This means that the team is still a work in progress.

But much credit has to be given to Frank Lampard that has to rely on the club’s academy for the likes of top scorer, Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount.

Meanwhile, with the signing of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, Chelsea will obviously look solid at least going forward. But what could be the team’s undoing could still be the backline again.

With a semi-final spot in the FA Cup as well, Chelsea can build on this season towards a glorious future.

Although they have suffered bad form since the restart, Sheffield United looked to have turned around against Wolves and Spurs.

Before their 3-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s team, they had suffered two losses and a draw. Coming into the Chelsea tie unbeaten in three games, the Blades could be Chelsea’s nemesis.

Team news
