A Premier League player who has not been named has been detained and is being questioned for a second alleged sex attack after a third victim came forward.
The footballer has previously been charged with raping two different women, first in June of last year and once in April of the following year.
The international star sexually abused a third claimed victim in Hertfordshire in February of last year, according to new allegations.
Following the new claim, the player, who was transported to the 2022 World Cup, was questioned for hours at a police station under a warrant.
It happened after police raided a North London property in July of last year and detained him.
His first accused victim, a woman in her 20s, said she was raped in June while on vacation in the Mediterranean.
It is alleged that she left the five-star resort she was staying at and flew back to her friends and family.
On her return to the UK, the woman is believed to have spoken to police and shown them pictures of what she claimed were bruises on her body from the alleged incident.
He was later detained again following his original arrest on suspicion of two further offenses from April and June 2021.
Police later abandoned the June claim because no compelling evidence was presented.
His police bail was supposed to expire this month, but it was postponed a third time until early July.
The player is still a member of the first team and has not been suspended by his club during the investigation.
The allegations, which swept WhatsApp groups for Premier League stars, were reported to have shocked other football players.
The player’s arrest has been a topic of conversation in top-tier UK locker rooms.
In an interview, Scotland Yard revealed to The Sun that: “On 4 July 2022, an allegation of rape of a woman in her 20s was reported to police.”
“It was reported the alleged rape happened in June 2022. On 4 July, a man was arrested at an address on suspicion of rape and taken into custody.”
“While in custody, he was further arrested on suspicion of two incidents of rape that were alleged to have been committed in April and June of 2021 against a different woman in her 20s.”
“In February 2023, the man was interviewed under caution for a sexual offence alleged to have taken place in Barnet in February 2022. This relates to a third victim and was reported to police in July 2022.”
“No further action will be taken in relation to the alleged offence in June 2021 because the relevant legislation had not yet come into effect at the time it is said to have occurred.”
“This has been explained to the complainant who continues to be supported by officers.”

Also, his 41-year-old alleged accomplice Louis Saha Matturie was cleared on three charges of raping two juveniles.
The 28-year-old Mr. Mendy and his pal Mr. Matturie were charged with raping women at the player’s Prestbury, Cheshire, house and in a Manchester apartment.
