Paris Saint Germain loanee Mauro Icardi has shown the world that his body is a complete work of art as he flaunts his tattooed body on Instagram. The 27-year-old Argentine striker, took to his Instagram account to share photos of himself and his wife Wanda Nara, to give his over 6 million Instagram followers something beyond the jersey to savour amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In one of the series of pictures the out of favour Argentina national team forward shared, the PSG star was seen sitting on the floor completely naked while embracing his wife who also sat on the floor with him. Wanda used her hand to ensure that nothing too private of the football star is revealed to the public. In the caption, he simply wrote “in love”, followed by the Instagram handle of his wife.
In another picture, the PSG star stood displaying his tattooed chest for the delight of his Instagram followers. His wife stood behind him with her right hand across his neck to display the name of one of their daughters tattooed on her hand. The name of their second daughter was also written on the player’s chest which has a large head of a lion inked on it. He also wrote “in love” in the caption.
The Love Drama of Icardi
Icardi and Wanda got married on 27 May 2014 amid a series of controversies. Wanda was married to Icardi’s former Sampdoria teammate Maxi López when she started dating the PSG star. López had to call off his marriage to Wanda when he realised that his teammate was dating his wife.
Wanda who is an Argentine media personality did not mind to walk out of her previous marriage to settle with Icardi. This action led to criticisms among football fans and the media in Argentina. It even led to the end of Icardi’s time in Argentina national team with just 8 appearances.
Besides the controversies, Icardi’s marriage is blessed with two daughters – Francesca, born on 19 January 2015, and Isabella, born on 27 October 2016.
Icardi is on loan to PSG from Inter Milan. Since he joined the French Ligue 1 side in November 2019, the Argentine striker has scored 12 goals in 20 appearances.
