With a double match against Liverpool approaching, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola maintains that he only has two players missing.

On April 10, Liverpool will take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the English Premier League, with both sides competing for the title. Nevertheless, just a few days later, the Reds will play Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-final at Wembley Stadium.

Considering their Carabao Cup victory, Liverpool is still in with a possibility of accomplishing an extraordinary quadruple. If Guardiola’s side wins the Champions League, FA Cup, and Premier League, they will wrap up a triple.

During Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers versus Bolivia and Chile, goalkeeper Ederson did not participate. After sustaining a muscular injury during a pre-match warm-up against Sweden last week, defender John Stones was pulled from the team.

Amidst these potential complications, Pep Guardiola believes that each of the abovementioned players is eligible to participate, with two more sidelined at the moment.

According to Pep Guardiola while commenting on the injured players, the renowned coach promulgated by saying “Ruben (Dias) and Cole Palmer are out, the rest are fit. I don’t know, the doctor said four to six weeks I think it’s four. He then proceeded by adding “They’ve had four weeks. I think he needs 10 more days or two more weeks. as he explains Dias’s fitness.

Ruben Dias has been out for a month owing to a hamstring injury he experienced in the FA Cup win against Peterborough United on March 1. Guardiola’s statements have prompted concerns about the defender’s fitness to play for Liverpool.

Man City is also competing in the Champions League ahead of their match against Liverpool. Guardiola and his team will fly to Spain for the opening leg of their quarter-final against Atletico Madrid.
