Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was furious after he was subbed off Liverpool’s 3-1 Premier League victory over Sheffield United.

Liverpool got off the mark against the relegation battlers with Darwin Nunez opening the scoring for the home side.

Sheffield United surprisingly fought back to level the score before the break through Conor Bradley’s own goal.

With the score standing at 1-1 draw, Jurgen Klopp decided to hurl off Mohamed Salah for Harvey Elliot at the half-hour, and the Egyptian was visibly unfazed by the decision to sub him off the game.

As he ran off the field, he was shaking his head before giving Jurgen Klopp a tardy greeting before making his way to the bench.

Salah has been key to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool squad. He has made 24 Premier League appearances for the club this term, scoring 16 goals with 9 assists. He has also made 7 Europa League appearances with 4 goals and 3 assists.

While the Egyptian was unfazed by Klopp’s decision to hurl him off the game, the German’s tactical tweak changed the trajectory of the game.

Liverpool struck twice after the substitutions through Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo to secure a 3-1 victory and return to the top of the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Salah will hope to return to the starting lineup when Liverpool take on Manchester United in another Premier League cracker at the weekend.
