Manchester United could replace the club’s manager Erik ten Hag with former Chelsea manager.

The Red Devils are reportedly scouring the market for a new manager after Erik ten Hag failed to impress in his second season with the club.

According to Transfer Live, Former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is a leading candidate to replace ten Hag.

The Red Devils are said to be interested in the Argentine, and other top European managers to take over the dugout at Old Trafford.

Mauricio Pochettino lost his job as Chelsea manager at the end of last season. He reached a mutual agreement to end his deal following irreconcilable differences with the club’s hierarchy over squad plan for the next campaign.

Pochettino did fairly better than Erik ten Hag in the campaign, leading Chelsea to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League. However, he struggled at the start, with the team hovering in mid-table before the roaring finish.

Notably, Pochettino had a good debut campaign as Chelsea manager and was tipped to improve further in the next campaign before his premature departure.

A move to Manchester United would afford the 54-year-old another chance to prove Himself in the English top-flight. Should the move go through, it will be the fourth time Poch has managed a club in the Premier League after Southampton, Tottenham, and Chelsea.

Do you see Mauricio Pochettino as the new Man United manager?
