Pep Guardiola relished the action from the stands for once as opposed to the sidelines, as he was seen having a hearty time in the NBA Finals on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Guardiola was seen courtside at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, as he unwinds after another record-breaking season with Manchester City.

The Cityzens became the first side in English football history to win the Premier League title for four seasons consecutively, shattering their record and that of rivals Manchester United, who won the Premier League title 3 seasons in a row on two occasions (2007 – 2009 and 1999 – 2001).

Liverpool, Huddersfield Town, and Arsenal are also clubs who have in the past won the English Premier League title for three seasons consecutively.

Anyway, Pep Guardiola witnessed the Boston Celtics take on the Dallas Mavericks in the opening game of the 2024 NBA Finals series.

Guardiola was quickly spotted where he sat courtside, with the Spaniard wearing a Boston Celtics hoodie, and as such, it was obvious to tell the team he was supporting.

Pep Guardiola has in the past expressed how he follows both Tennis and Basketball to pick out areas where he can improve his sides.

Meanwhile, the 53-year-old had been spotted discussing with Boston Celtics manager Joe Mazzulla on Wednesday at the TD Garden with the duo swapping jerseys.

Mazzulla, who is currently 35 years old, is the youngest head coach since Bill Russell to reach the NBA Finals, with the latter also at age 35 when he led the Boston Celtics to the NBA Finals in 1969.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the first game of the NBA Finals 107-89 to begin their quest for the Championship on a good note.

Moreover, on the eve of the clash, Guardiola joined Joe Mazzulla on the court at the TD Garden, with the pair seen deep in conversation.

Pep Guardiola appeared like an animated figure as he appeared to gesture with his hands at the coach.

The Spanish tactician is often seen involved in such theatrical displays with his players over the years.

Guardiola was noticeably seen delivering an impassioned pep talk to Jack Grealish following Manchester City’s 0-0 draw to Arsenal in March 2024.

The majority of Pep Guardiola’s players will be involved with national team engagements in the coming weeks, and he has thought it wise to spend his free time in the United States Of America.
