Leeds United owner, Andrea Radrizzani, seems to have had all his defenses burgled as Leeds fell to a heavy defeat to Bournemouth.

After holding on for 20 minutes, Leeds fell to a quickfire double by Lema in the 20th and 24th minute.

Bamford put one back for the away side to restore comeback hopes before both sides headed into the first half break.

Solanke extended the lead again for Bournemouth in the 65th minute before a stoppage-time strike by Semenyo sealed victory for the home side.

Bournemouth boosted their Premier League survival hopes with the 4-1 win while Leeds slipped further down near the relegation zone.

The loss saw Leeds fell to just a point above the relegation zone with few matches remaining to the end of the season.

Leeds United owner, Andrea Radrizzani, was left broken and dejected after the defeat.

A Twitter message shared by a Leeds fan, Conor McGilligan, shows Radrizzani with a groveling apology to the fan for the defeat.

McGilligan had messaged Andrea Radrizzani questioning how he got the whole Leeds setup so wrong that the club stumbles to the Bournemouth defeat and are struggling in the relegation zone.

McGilligan wrote “cannot believe you’ve got this so wrong Andrea”

Replying, McGilligan, Andrea Radrizzani wrote, “‘I am broken. I am responsible for this s***. Unacceptable. You don’t deserve this. Ridiculous.”

McGilligan’s added a screen recording of the conversation with Andrea Radrizzani as evidence to clear doubts on the veracity of the conversation.

With four remaining matches to fight for a place in the English topflight next season, Leeds have garnered 30 points from 34 games with 7 wins, 9 draws, and 18 defeats.

They are 16th on the Premier League table, a point above Leicester City, who are 18th on the table.

Andrea Radrizzani sacked Jesse Marsch on February replacing him with Javi Gracia.

Gracia led Leeds to wins over Wolves, Southampton, and Nottingham Forest and defeats against Liverpool, Crystal Palace, and Bournemouth.

After the heavy defeat to Bournemouth, furious Leeds fans attempted to attack Gracia but were restrained by stewards.

The club now have four matches to steer themselves to safety from relegation.

Andrea Radrizzani, 52, took over the ownership of Leeds in 2017 when he increased his 50% stake at the club to 100%, taking over full ownership from former owner, Massimo Cellino.

After 16 years, he returned Leeds to Premier League after the club emerged winners of the 2019/20 EFL Championships campaign.

Leeds finished strong in their first season in the Premier League after winning promotion from Championships.

They finished 9th on the table with 59 points, a feat that is unlikely this season. They have four remaining difficult fixtures against Manchester City, Newcastle, West Ham, and Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Leicester City and Everton have one outstanding match each. A win for either team will see Leeds move closer to the relegation zone.
