Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa tied the knot with his Italian lover Chiara Casiraghi just a year into the relationship.
The pair took to their social media handle to share clips of the exotic wedding ceremony in Italy graced by friends and families.
According to reports, Correa and Chiara started dating last year and were deeply engrossed with each other just months into the relationship.
They shared beautiful moments together and it was pretty obvious they will tie the knot soon after being enveloped in fiery flames of affection and love for each other.
As planned, the pair finally hitched up to each other at the San Pio X Church in Monza, Italy on Monday to the excitement and glares of their families and friends who attended the wedding.
Who is Joaquin Correa?
Joaquin Correa is an Argentinian professional football star plying his trade with Serie A giants Inter Milan. He is also an active player with Argentina national team, having won 20 caps with the team since 2017.
Born in Juan Bautista Alberdi in Argentina, the 1.89m tall forward made his first professional appearance with Argentina elite division side Estudiantes in 2012. He spent two years with the club, making 53 appearances and scoring 3 goals before moving to Europe in 2015.
Correa had his first European stint playing for Serie A side Sampdoria in 2015. He made 31 appearances for the club in his one-year stint, scoring 3 goals. In 2016, the Argentinian forward moved to La Liga where he played for Sevilla and racked up 5 goals in 47 appearances before returning to Italy to play for Lazio. At Lazio, Correa hit 22 goals in 92 appearances. He was loaned to Inter Milan in 2021 where the loan move was made permanent following an impressive debut season with the club. Correa made his national team debut in 2017 and has went on to rack up 40 caps with the Albiceleste. He has won the Copa Italia, and Supercopa Des Espana with Lazio and Inter Milan. He also won the 2021 Copa America with Argentina national team. Correa was included in Argentina 2022 World Cup squad but was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to a knee injury.
