After the first and the second world war, the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, also known as COVID-19, could be said to be the darkest period in the history of humanity. But one of the greatest footballers in the history of the world, Cristiano Ronaldo wants the world to feel differently about the pandemic.

The Juventus of Italy talisman took to his Instagram account with over 210 million people to share a picture showing when he sat in his sitting room with some of his children.

In the picture, the 35-year-old Portuguese football legend could be seen carrying one of his twin children between his legs, while another child of his was seen reaching out to his face. Another child of the football star could also be seen sitting on a pillow next to his feet.

The children who were with Ronaldo in the picture are his twin’s children Eva Maria (female) and Mateo (male) who were born on 8 June 2017 through surrogacy. The other is Alana Martina, the daughter of his wife, Georgina Rodríguez. She was born on 12 November 2017.

Talking about what Cristiano Ronaldo wants you to be grateful for, on the picture he shared on Instagram and Twitter, the football legend captioned it by acknowledging that the whole world is in a difficult moment.

Still, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United superstar urged people to be thankful for the things that matter.

While highlighting those things that should matter, Cristiano Ronaldo said people should be thankful for their health, family, and their loved ones.

In the concluding part of the caption, the Portuguese urged people to stay at home and to help all the health workers who have been fighting to save the lives of those who have contracted the virus.

In his latest Instagram and Twitter posts, Ronaldo shared a picture showing his well-built physique. The background of the picture looks like he took it at a gym in his mansion. In the caption, he wrote: “Breath in, breathe out. Stay active”.
