Fifa 21 will be launched exactly one month from now and the users of the football simulation video game can not wait to have a taste of the new edition. Hence, this article will reveal to you how to play FIFA 21 for free before it is officially released.
The publishers of the famous video game, Electronic Arts (EA Sports) revealed on 18 June 2020 at EA Play Live that the 28th installment in the FIFA series will be released on 9 October 2020.
After the announcement, EA Sports gave some selected players the opportunity to play the closed beta version of the game. The people selected to have the first feel of the game were not up to the 1 percent of the millions of people that can not do without the game. Unfortunately for them, everyone could not be included in the closed beta version of the game which means that the rest of the users have to wait for another opportunity to play it.
As it stands, the good news for the users of the famous video game is that the demo version could be available in mid-September, at most three weeks before the official release of the full version on October 9.
Recall that fans of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), had the opportunity of enjoying the demo version of the current edition of the game, FIFA 20, on September 10, 2019. After that, the fans of the game had to wait until September 27, 2019, to get the full version.
However, the publisher of the series could not follow the same trend in releasing FIFA 21. The official release date had to be extended due to the outbreak of the dreaded coronavirus pandemic.
As we await the official confirmation of EA Sports on the exact date the demo version will be available, here is how to play FIFA 21 before it is officially launched:
There are two means through which you can play FIFA 21 before its official launch on October 9. The first means is via early access while the second means is via demo version.
Early Access
Those who will have the opportunity of playing the game ahead of the release date via early access are those who pre-ordered FIFA 21. They will have the access to play it from October 6, 2020, three days before the official release on October 9, 2020.
Demo Version
As stated earlier, the publisher of the game is yet to announce the exact date that the game will be published. However, it is most likely to be published in mid-September.
Once EA Sports announces that the demo version is available, go to the online stores of your platform – Play Station 4, Xbox One, and PC to download and install it on your device.
Afterward, you will be able to play the demo version of the game with at most half of the features of the full version. The demo is just to whet your appetite for the full Fifa 21 which will be available for sale on October 9.
