Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed Argentine youngster Alejandro Garnacho has apologized after an apparent breach of disciplinary code.

Garnacho took to his social media handle to comment on a post that criticized Erik ten Hag’s decision to sub him off at halftime in Man United’s 2-2 Premier League draw with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Manchester Evening News reported the footballing sensation has been summoned by the Dutch for questioning for the social media activity.

Showdown talks were held amidst fears the fallout could descend into another Jadon Sancho saga.

Now, Erik ten Hag has confirmed the matter has been handled perfectly with the two parties ready to work together.

In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch revealed Garnacho had recognized his mistake and apologized for the post.

He added the fast-rising younger still has a lot to learn as he navigates the cuts and cliffs of professional football

“He apologised for it. After that, we move on”.

“Alejandro is a young player and has to learn a lot”.

Alejandro Garnacho has been one of the standout performers for Manchester United despite the club’s underwhelming campaign this season.

He has 7 Premier League goals with 4 assists and has cemented his spot in Erik ten Hag’s squad.

In return, Erik ten Hag has been full of rave reviews for the player but made a U-turn in the Bournemouth game, subbing him off at halftime for a poor work rate.

With the fallout settled, Garnacho will be in contention to return to the starting lineup as United take on Coventry City in the 2024 FA Cup semifinal.
