Four Manchester United players are set to leave the club at the end of the season, according to reports.

Manchester United’s new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly set to turn attention to clearing deadwoods in the ranks of the players in the summer. By then, the INEOS supremo, who just recruited a new technical director for the club, must have been through with his overhaul of the club’s administrative cadre.

According to sources close to the Old Trafford outfit, about four Man United players are likely to leave the club at the end of the season in the whirlpool of Sir Jim’s sundry changes.

Leading the list of the exit-bound stars is Anthony Martial. Martial has been ruled out of the rest of the season for Manchester United due to injury with his contract expiring at the end of the summer.

The French footballer has struggled with a biting injury crisis that has seen him play a bit-part role in the club. He is slated to leave at the end of the season with United refusing to renew his contract terms.

United loanee to Borussia Dortmund Jadon Sancho is also linked to a summer exit from the club. Sancho fell out with Erik ten Hag and saw his career at Old Trafford grind to a halt. He has impressed on his loan shift with Borussia Dortmund with the club interested in a permanent move for him in the summer.

Raphael Varane is another Man United player with an uncertain future at Old Trafford. Varane will run out his contract with Manchester United at the end of the season and has been linked to a move away from the club following his downbeat performances.

Dutch footballer, Donny van de Beek, who played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax, has seen his Old Trafford fortunes take a wild tumble since Erik ten Hag assumed the reins as Man United manager last season. He made only 7 Premier League appearances for the club last season and made one appearance this season before being loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt.

As per the Athletic, Donny Van de Beek is preparing for a summer exit from Manchester United despite having a contract with the club till 2025.
