David Beckham and PSG footballers united in Doha, Qatar as part of his ambassadorial role which is worth £15 million. The co-owner of the Major League Soccer club, Inter Miami CF, flew from the United States to Qatar to catch up with the Paris Saint Germain players who spent over two days touring the Gulf state.

The affiliation that exists between David Beckham and PSG started in 2013 when the 47-year-old English ex-footballer decided to move to the French club where he retired from professional football in the same year.

Fortunately, Qatar is using David Beckham and PSG to promote the image of the country ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will kick off this Winter.

To announce to the world that he was with PSG players, Beckham took to his verified Instagram page with 73.1 million followers to share pictures showing when he posed for snaps with the PSG stars.

In the first slide, David Beckham was seen posing with PSG’s talisman Kylian Mbappe in a Stadium in Doha. The retired footballer rested his right hand on Mbappe’s shoulder while they both smiled at the camera.

In the second slide, Beckham was seen posing with another PSG superstar, Neymar. This time around, Neymar posed with the legendary footballer as if he was trying to take a selfie.

While in the third slide, the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and PSG star was seen shaking hands with Lionel Messi who was seen seated while exchanging pleasantries with Beckham.

In the fourth slide, Beckham was seen having a conversation with PSG’s Marco Verratti, Sergio Ramos, and an unidentified aged man. The English football icon sat facing the PSG’s team members as if he was having a very important conversation with them.

While in the last slide, Beckham was seen standing face to face with former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos who joined PSG in August 2021. They had a handshake while they smiled at each other like two long-lost friends.

Recall that Ramos and Beckham played together at Real Madrid between 2005 and 2007. They won one La Liga title together before Beckham left for La Galaxy in 2007.

It was not only David Beckham that shared pictures of the meeting on Instagram, Achraf Hakimi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe took to their various Instagram pages to share pictures from the meeting.

Mbappe who could leave PSG this summer shared a picture showing when he and Neymar posed for a snap with Beckham. In the second slide, Mbappe was seen having a good laugh with Beckham and Hakimi.

Neymar also shared a series of pictures showing some of the activities he was involved in during PSG’s promotional tour of Doha ahead of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup.

Achraf Hakimi who joined PSG from Inter Milan in August 2021 also shared pictures showing some of the activities he was involved in during the star-studded tour.

Paris Saint Germain have a game to play before the end of the 2021-2022 season. They have already won this season’s French Ligue 1 even though they still have a league game against Metz on May 21 at 20:00.

PSG owned by Qatar Sports Investments and headed by Nasser Al-Khelaifi has a Trophee Des Champions final to play before the 2022-2023 season begins. The match is against Nantes on July 31, 2022.

PSG had to travel to Doha, Qatar to tour the facilities developed for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup which was part of their agreement with their Qatari sponsors including Qatar Airways, Aspetar/Aspire, Ooredoo, Qatar Tourism, and QNB.

As for David Beckham, he signed a contract with the Qatari government worth £15 million to promote the forthcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup which will commence in November. He is also expected to promote the image of the Gulf state. Hence, as part of the deal, he had to be available to join PSG to tour the World Cup facilities.
