Cody Gakpo and partner Noa van der Bij, have revealed the birth of their first child together via an emotional post on Instagram.
Gakpo and Noa were flooded with congratulatory messages after disclosing the birth of their new baby.
Cody Gakpo has had a really thrilling few weeks away from the turf, with the footballer missing Liverpool’s 2-0 Merseyside defeat to Everton on April 24, 2024, after his darling went into labor.
Having scored a goal and provided an assist in the Reds’ 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield, the Dutchman took to his Instagram page to share the heartwarming information.

In a joint post on Instagram where they announced the birth of their first child together, they also revealed the name of the baby.
They shared a picture alongside the new baby, with Gakpo seen giving his girlfriend Noa van der Bij a peck on her cheek.
The pair captioned the picture on Instagram with the words which read: “On 25-04-24, we were blessed with the new love of our lives Samuël Seth Gakpo”.
Congratulatory Messages Were Poured On The Couple
Several of the family’s close pals trooped to Instagram to send them congratulatory messages.
Dutch teammate Ryan Grabenberch commented on the post with a series of eye emojis, with the footballer’s girlfriend, Cindy Peroti, also delighted by the information.
Spurs’ Micky van de Ven also sent a love emoji, while Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder on loan from Manchester United Donny Van De Beek also commented “congratulations” with a love emoji and prayer emoji.
The Netherlands international’s outfitter, Puma, also sent him a red heart and love emoji.
Cody Gakpo has been impressive this campaign, as he looks to have finally settled into England.
Gakpo, who also has Togolese roots, joined Liverpool from PSV Eindhoven on January 1, 2023, for a fee of €42 million.
Cody Gakpo struggled in his first few months in England, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists in 26 appearances for Liverpool.
The attacker has improved that tally this campaign, as he has netted 15 goals and provided 6 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions.
Even though he hasn’t delivered up to the level expected of him, Liverpool supporters can believe that the 25-year-old could come good at Anfield.

Moreover, Cody Gakpo has been dating Dutch-born model girlfriend Noa van der Bij since December 2020, although that was when they made it public, and it is unknown if they had been dating before then.
Noa is said to be working as a junior booker for Cachet Models and has been quite supportive of her partner’s football career.
The Dutch lady has a degree in management from the Avans University of Applied Sciences.
Noa van der Bij was born on July 1, 1999, and she is currently 24 years old, the same age as her boyfriend, Cody, who was born on May 7, 1999.
Noa van der Bij is a Christian and she has about 40,000 followers on Instagram, with her account filled with several of her lovely pictures alongside some with boyfriend Cody Gakpo.
