    Carlo Ancelotti’s future is in question as he enters the decisive period of the season as coach of Madrid.

    Ancellotti has eyes on the Champions League and La Liga title and they seem a bit far away. At the same time, The Brazil national team job is open and the Italian is said to be the favourite for the job if he is available for it.

    However, Ancelotti’s statements so far has been in one direction, which is remaining at Real Madrid for now.

    In an interview, Carlo Ancelotti said alot of things, ranging from his team, to his contact with Real Madrid as well as his future with the Spanish giants.

    When Carlo was asked how his team have fared after the international break, he said: “Well, those who have traveled with their teams have come back in shape. And those who have been here have been fine. Bad luck with Mendy this season. My feeling is that we are ready.”

    He was asked about coaching rumors and the Brazilian job, the Former Chelsea, Bayern and AC Milan manager shrugged it off saying;

    “I’m not surprised by the rumors. And they don’t worry me. The only thing I think about is fulfilling at this club while I’m here. Everything else, quite clear: I’ll continue until Madrid allow me. We’re doing very well, I feel love from the club. My The environment is calm and I am the same. There are two months left and we are going for titles”.

    “Everyone can say what they want. But the reality is what it is. And I just said it: I have a contract and I want to continue. It’s simple. Nobody knows the future”.

    Carlo Ancelotti confirmed he was not going to retire after Madrid job, and when asked about player leavng the club for another, he said: “The atmosphere is calm. What the press says doesn’t matter to me. I think of Barcelona, ​​Chelsea, Valladolid… the players know what they have to do. And that’s what I think about, nothing more”.

    He was also quizzed to compare Vinicius and Gavi and his response was: “And if my grandfather had wheels he would be a car. That’s not a problem. Gavi, Vinicius have had them… The issue is that you have to respect people, that’s the issue.”

    Speaking on Vini Jr’s contract, he also added: “Contract issues will be discussed at the end of the season. He is progressing, like many Castilla players.”
