    September 15, 2020, was a big payday for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, his wife Alysha Behague, and his children as the player finally extended his contract with Arsenal football club.

    The past couple of months have been moments of uncertainties over the future of Aubameyang at Arsenal. Everyone, especially the fans of the club were not sure whether the 31-year-old Gabon international would extend his contract or not.

    In the midst of the uncertainty, Chelsea football club and Barcelona began to show interest in the striker but were not able to do much, thanks to the high price-tag they would have to pay to acquire his services.

    When Arsenal announced that Aubameyang has finally agreed to continue playing for the club until 2023, Aubameyang’s wife Alysha Behague was among the first set people of that took to the social media to celebrate.

    She took to her Instagram account with 70 thousand followers to post a picture showing her husband holding the hands of their two children Curtys and Pierre while at the tunnel of the Emirate Stadium. The trio wore Arsenal jerseys and Behague captioned it with “Arsenal family”.

    Alysha Behague knows that life would no longer be the same based on Aubameyang’s new deal. When he was earning just £180,000-a-week wages, they were already living big. According to reports, the new deal Aubameyang signed with Arsenal will earn him £250,000-a-week which makes him the second-highest-paid player at Arsenal behind Mesut Ozil.

    This means that Alysha League and her children £70,000 to spend on their expensive lifestyle. To even make it more beautiful, the weekly wages would not be the only thing Aubameyang’s family will depend on, Arsenal will pay him bonuses for goals scored, winning matches, qualifying for Champions League, becoming the league top scorer, and other add-ons for the next three years.

    “Signing for this special club was never in doubt,” Aubameyang said in a statement. “It’s thanks to our fans, my teammates, my family, and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here.
