Before the international break, Al-Nassr trailed Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Ittihad by just one point.

However, after a barren draw against Al-Feiha away from home, the Saudi Pro League title hopefuls went down three points behind Al-Ittihad.

Nine games are remaining to the end of the current Saudi Pro League campaign and Al-Nassr need to pull up a strong showing to beat the Saudi Pro League title challenge from arch-rivals Al-Ittihad.

Now, according to ESPN, Al-Nassr boss and former Lyon manager Rudi Garcia is under pressure to return Al-Nassr to winning ways to save his job.

ESPN reports he has been given a one-match ultimatum after a secret meeting to save his job or face the axe.

The hierachy at Al-Nassr are reportedly not satisfied with the performance of the European football veteran so far this season.

He was knocked out of the Saudi Super Cup by same opponents who are also closing in on beating them to the Saudi Pro League title.

Al-Nassr will face another top rival Al-Hilal in their next game. Rudi Garcia will have a chance to restore confidence from the club’s hierarchy as he braces up for the game.

Meanwhile, there are reports Cristiano Ronaldo is not backing Rudi Garcia to stay at the club after the team seems to lose out of the Saudi Pro League title race.

Ronaldo has 10 goals in 9 games for Al-Nassr this season

In the stalemate draw with Al-Feiha, Cristiano Ronaldo refused to clap the away fans and refused an handshake with the opponents.

He angrily stormed off the pitch and headed straight to the exit tunnel after the final whistle blaming an Al-Feiha player for delay tactics during the game.

After the Al-Feiha stalemate, Rudi Garcia blasted all his players for a subpar performance against the lowly-rated side.

Garcia generalized his criticisms of his players, including Cristiano Ronaldo who blanked several goal-scoring chances.

Despite the criticism, Rudi Garcia seemed to have gotten on well with Cristiano Ronaldo after the latter joined the club in a mega deal.

But AS reports Rudi Garcia and Cristiano Ronaldo are not seeing face-to-face at the club after their recent underwhelming perfomance in the league.

The Manchester United legend is eyeing his first trophy with Al-Nassr and has tipped the club for high-level feats after joining them.

However, it appears the club are further drifting from the title race under Rudi Garcia’s watch – a situation that has been worrisome to Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken with the club’s hierachy on his dissatisfaction with Garcia’s delivery and the manager has now been given Al-Hilal, the next fixture, as his lifeline game to save his job or be sacked.

The Al-Hilal Vs Al-Nassr game will take place on Tuesday, April 18. The kick-off time is 20:00.
