Cristiano Ronaldo was caught in a furious rant with Al-Feiha player after the club settled for a disappointing 0-0 draw with Al-Feiha on Sunday.
The Manchester United legend lost his cool in a viral footage after the final whistle and clashed with the player when the latter wanted to have a handshake with him.
Al-Nassr outplayed Al-Feiha but were unlucky in front of goals. Cristiano Ronaldo himself blanked goal chances and was seemingly frustrated in the game.
After the final whistle, spoils were shared but the Portugal legend was not contented with the result which saw the team drift farther off title contenders Al-Ittihad at the top.
A lot was at stake for Al-Nassr going into the game and the result was a disappointment for the five times Ballon d’Or winner.
For weeks, Al-Nassr and bitter rivals, Al-Ittihad, have been going head-to-head in the Saudi Pro League title race.
Al-Ittihad were just one point ahead of Al-Nassr on the title race before both teams head into the weekend fixure.
Al-Ittihad secured a comfortable 2-1 win over Al-Wehda and Al-Nassr needed a win to close in on the rivals but ended up dropping two valuable points against Al-Feiha to drop three points from the top.
Ronaldo had one of his worst games since joining the club after the away side failed to break the goal deadlock.
He was arguing and clashing with Al-Feiha players throughout the game in frustration.
After the final whistle, Ronaldo let loose his temper on one of the Al-Feiha players, A-Zaqaan, before storming off the field of play in anger and not clapping the away fans.
Ronaldo accused Al-Zaqaan of time wasting and angrily said, “you don’t want to play” blanking the player in fury when the latter wanted to have a handshake.
Ronaldo headed off the field straight to the tunnel, ignoring both the fans and coaching crew during the angry outburst.
Ronaldo has scored 9 goals in 11 games for Al-Nassr but is eyeing the Saudi Pro League trophy in his debut season with the club.
Early in the season, he was denied his chance of touching his first silverware at Al-Nassr when the team was knocked out of the Saudi Super Cup by the same arch-rivals, Al-Ittihad, who are eyeing the Saudi Pro League title.
The Manchester United legend has been prolific for his new club, but has teetered on the edges of frustration when results don’t go his way.
Al-Nassr came through several chances that would have killed the game but fired blank to draw with the lowly-rated side.
While other Al-Nassr players waited to shake hands with Al-Feiha players after the game, Cristiano Ronaldo was already pissed off and had stormed off the pitch in anger.
