The mother and uncle of Ademola Lookman were present in Dublin, Ireland to witness the footballer etch his name into history, as he helped Atalanta win the UEFA Europa League crown.

Lookman was breathtaking on the night at the Aviva Stadium, netting a hat-trick that secured a 3-0 win for the side from Bergamo over Bayer Leverkusen.

Ademola Lookman displayed brilliance in front of his hearty parents, ending Xabi Alonso’s side’s 51-game unbeaten run.

Following the encounter, the Nigerian forward was seen hugging his mom and his uncle tightly, with the Europa League’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account capturing the emotional scene.

The trio were beaming with smiles of joy after the full-time whistle, with those surrounding them staring at the heartwarming moment.

Lookman’s hat trick resulted in him winning his first-ever major career trophy, as he became the first player to score a hat trick in the UEFA Europa League final.

The trophy also brought happiness to the attacker, seeing that he had previously lost 2 finals in 2024.

Ademola Lookman finished on the losing side in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final, as Nigeria were defeated by Ivory Coast 2-1 in February 2024.

In the Coppa Italia final, Lookman’s Atalanta were also beaten 1-0 by Juventus in the final played on May 15, 2024.

The Nigerian ultimately became third-time lucky on this occasion, as he netted his 13th, 14th, and 15th goals of the campaign to guide his side to the Europa League trophy.
