Austin FC are making moves in the transfer market as they close in on a deal to sign Ghanaian international winger Osman Bukari from Serbian side Red Star Belgrade.

Sources have confirmed that the MLS club are finalizing a deal for around $7 million to bring the 25-year-old to Texas.

Bukari has been in sensational form this season, with 10 goals and 10 assists in all competitions for Red Star Belgrade.

His performances have caught the eye of Austin FC, who are looking to add firepower to their squad as they continue to build for the future.

This news comes just a day after Austin made a significant roster move by waiving and buying out designated player winger Emiliano Rigoni.

The club decided to part ways with Rigoni to avoid triggering his contract option for the 2025 season.

His ability to unsettle defenses and contribute both in finishing and creating plays will add a crucial dimension to Austin FC’s attack.

Additionally, his experience in the Champions League will bring a valuable winning mentality to the team.
