Klopp proceeded to stay in the stands, with his seven major titles laid out on the steps of the stands in Anfield Stadium.
Klopp sent a sincere farewell message to the Liverpool fans ahead of the last home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on May 19, 2024.
In the farewell message sent to the Liverpool fans, Klopp said, “Can you create football stories that definitely nobody will ever forget?’ I knew I loved the club before I signed the contract. It’s the biggest honor I can ever imagine.”
“For me, Liverpool is the city of open arms. A place that welcomes you like a son and does not care where you come from. It just wants you to be part of it, and I could not be prouder that you allowed me to have that incredible privilege.”
“A city that gives this kind of welcome deserves at the very least a proper farewell. There is so much I could say right now, and there are so many special moments I could talk about.”
