Ben White was seen undoing the gloves of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario while Spurs were trying to defend a corner kick that put Arsenal ahead on Sunday, April 28.

Bukayo Saka swung a beautiful cross from the corner, and it was headed into the Tottenham goal post by Spurs’ midfielder, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

The Tottenham Hotspur fans were not happy about the legality of the goal after watching the replays.

Arsenal defender White appeared to be wrestling with Tottenham goalkeeper Vicario on the goal line, with the replays virtually displaying the cunning tactics used by the defender.

Despite the player’s cunning means, the VAR failed to review the goal as Arsenal took the lead against their Arch-rival in the first half of the game.

White disrupted the movement of the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, Vicario, for Arsenal’s third goal as he stood in front of the goalkeeper before Kai Havertz headed in the third goal of the game.

The game was a nightmare for Tottenham Hotspur players, and they were heavily criticized after the game.

Ben White’s parents are Barry White and Carole White. His father, Barry, works as a gardener, while his mother, Carole, was a housemaker.

White has a sister named Ellie. The Arsenal defender is currently married to Milly Adams. The pair got married on May 21, 2023.

Why did Ben White turn down the England national team?

The major reason he failed to turn up, despite the fact that he was called up by England manager Gareth Southgate, was because the defender argued with England assistant manager Steve Holland.

The argument created an atmosphere that reduced the player’s interest in playing for the England national team.
