Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made a bold statement on his Manchester United future amid sack rumors.

The former Ajax boss has been under pressure as United’s poor campaign this season shows no sign of abating.

Under his watch, United are teetering on the brink of missing out of Champions League football next season, and have been largely inconsistent.

Meanwhile, new Manchester United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is head-on with his transformation agenda at the club, and there have been reports Erik ten Hag could be a causality of Sir Jim’s footballing revamp.

Despite uncertainties surrounding his future as Man United manager, Erik ten Hag has made a bold statement, insisting he will continue on the reigns as Man United manager next season.

Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Manchester United Premier League cracker against Liverpool, the Dutch said he has no doubt he will continue as Man United manager next season.

“I don’t have any doubts and I love to be here”.

“This is a challenge. The results are not always going in the right direction but I’m sure we will get there, where we want to be.”

Away from his bold take on his future at Old Trafford, there are still doubts Sir Jim Ratcliffe will allow Erik ten Hag to continue next season.

However, it is understood the UK billionaire is reportedly undecided on the Dutch but could be forced to part ways with him if Manchester United fail to qualify for Champions League.

Ten Hag has, on several occasions, played the card of confidence but sources close to Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS team reveal they are unconvinced of the Dutch following United’s less-than-stellar run.

As things stand, it is more likely the former Ajax boss could be shown the exit door at the end of the season if Manchester United fail to qualify for Champions League.
