The football star and Aine have been together long before stardom. They fell in love with each other as teenagers in 2007 when they met at their friend’s party in Brazil. Since then, Aine has been with Coutinho from his days at Vasco da Gama football academy to Liverpool football club, Barcelona and now Bayern Munich.

“We didn’t study together, we didn’t really have mutual friends, except for one, who had a party and we both went to it”, Philippe Coutinho said in 2019.

“We met there and sat together for a long time just talking. She asked me to be her boyfriend. There wasn’t really a moment where we were like, ‘Ok we are together now.’

“We’re from the same neighbourhood and so we just started seeing more and more of each other, going places together and it grew deeper and stronger.”

They made their love affair official when they got married in Brazil in 2012. Three years later, Aine gave birth to their first daughter Maria. In late 2018, their second child who he named after himself, arrived.

The Bad News

Bayern Munich has given the Jersey number 10 which Philippe Coutinho has been wearing since he joined the German Bundesliga side in 2019, to Leroy Sane. This means that there is no room for the Brazilian forward at the club.

Coutinho has been on loan at Bayern as he was not able to establish himself at Barcelona. The same fate followed him to Bayern and he is yet to make up his mind on where next to go.

Sane joined Bayern from Manchester City this summer for £45 million. The German youngster is expected to spend the next 5 years at the club wearing Coutinho’s jersey number.
