Yunus Musah has joined AC Milan from Valencia according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The United States International midfielder Musah has been committed to joining the Rossoneri for weeks, but Valencia owner Peter Lim insisted he wouldn’t let the player leave for less than €20m.

Valencia initially requested a sum of €25m but no club, including those in England, came close to meeting this valuation.

Meanwhile, only AC Milan showed the highest level of interest in acquiring the American international player. This is why he was patient and waited for both Rossoneri and Valencia to reach a final agreement.

Report has it that Valencia initially rejected Milan’s bid of €18m (£15m/$20m) plus bonuses.

However, the Spanish team reportedly agreed to reduce their asking price for the midfielder from €25m (£21m/$28m), which revived the possibility of finalizing the deal.

After several weeks of back-and-forth in the negotiations between the two clubs, it appears that the framework of a deal has finally been agreed upon.

And according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, it has been reported that Yunus Musah will be joining AC Milan as the transfer is now completed and agreement met.

The 20-year-old United States midfielder who has also represented England’s national team is set to sign a five-year deal with AC Milan.

Furthermore, Romano reported that the agreement between Milan and Valencia on the transfer was sealed on €20m (£17m/$22m), which includes add-ons.

As it stands, Musah will be traveling to Italy to have his medical tests next week.

Yunus Musah will be leaving Valencia at the young age of 20, but he has already played nearly 100 matches for the club, which makes him a highly intriguing prospect.

The 20-year-old decided to join the Italian club despite interest from Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, West Ham United, and Fulham.

According to reports, he is expected to sign a contract worth €2 million per year with Stefano Pioli’s team and join his USMNT teammate Christian Pulisic at Milan.
