Former England Super striker Wayne Rooney has been actively practising the Stay at home order which is being practised across the world and which is believed will help to curb the continuous spread of the dreaded Coronavirus.

The former Manchester United and Everton Football Club star didn’t want to keep the activities he engages in while obeying the stay at home order to himself as he decided to take to his Instagram page to share some of the wonderful time he recently had with his family.

Rooney and Love

During his A-days as a footballer, Rooney is believed to be a very “no-nonsense” person especially during his days in Manchester United. Besides his ruggedness as a football star, he has a soft spot for love.

He has been together with his wife, Coleen Rooney since they were in secondary school. Despite the fact that Rooney admitted that he solicited for prostitutes in Liverpool in 2004, the lovebirds got married on 12 June 2008 after six years of dating.

However, the wedding ran into some controversy with the Catholic Church. The couple held the religious ceremony of the marriage at the Abbey of Cervara, a converted monastery near Genoa, despite being warned by the local bishop’s office against the plan.

The bishop’s office told Rooney’s family that La Cervara is deconsecrated and not suitable for a wedding. It suggested a different church, five miles away. Nevertheless, the couple ignored the advice and Father Edward Quinn, their local Catholic priest from Croxteth, presided over the ceremony.

Presently, the union is blessed with four sons: Kai Wayne, 2 November 2009, Klay Anthony, 21 May 2013, Kit Joseph, 24 January 2016, and Cass Mac Rooney, 15 February 2018.
