Vinicius Jr could exit Real Madrid in the summer of 2024, due to the “never-ending” racial abuses he has received since moving to the country.
The attacker sobbed in a presser ahead of Brazil’s friendly with Spain in March 2024, after he was questioned on the racism he has faced whilst playing for Real Madrid.
Several individuals have linked the racial abuses against the footballer to his mannerisms and disposition on the field of play, although many counter that notion, stressing that it doesn’t warrant the racial abuses that the footballer has in turn received over the years.
Vinicius Jr joined Real Madrid from Flamengo on July 12, 2018, for a fee of €45 million.
The 23-year-old has scored 77 goals and provided 72 assists in 253 appearances for Los Blancos across all competitions.
Anyway, Carlo Ancelotti was also questioned in a presser on whether he was worried that Real Madrid could be losing the footballer.
He said: “There is one thing that worries me about Vinicius, a lot, today, and that is that he cannot play tomorrow.”

On the tears of the footballer in the presser before the game against Spain, Ancelotti said: “I saw the match, I liked it, it was entertaining and beautiful.
“A friendly but very competitive. I enjoyed it. For Vinicius, it is obvious that it was a very important issue.
“He takes it very seriously and that is what that we all have to do, take this issue very seriously.”
Vinicius Jr is considered to be one of the best wingers in Europe currently, due to his magnificent display down the flanks.
His attributes include; great athleticism, impressive pace, wonderful trickery, and outstanding dribbling abilities.
Over the years, footballers have joined forces despite the barriers that differentiate them in lending their voices against the menace called racism.
They have made a significant impact in fighting racism, but their efforts have yet to yield the desired results.
Vinicius Jr has also received messages of support from several players in recent years, including; Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao, and even Manchester United great David De Gea.
Anyway, Real Madrid return to action on March 31, 2024, facing Athletic Bilbao in a matchday 30 La Liga action.
Los Blancos sit at the summit of the log, with 72 points from 29 matches played, 5 points better than 2nd-placed Barcelona, who have amassed 67 points this term from 30 league matches.
Vinicius Jr will be looking to contribute his quota to the success of Real Madrid, as they aim to win the La Liga and UEFA Champions League this campaign.
The Brazil international has scored 18 goals and provided 8 assists in 28 appearances across all competitions this season.
