Manchester United transfer news: Juventus interested in Jadon Sancho
Juventus are interested in out-of-favor Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho. Sancho is due back to Manchester United after his loan spell with Borussia Dortmund.
According to Italian outlets, Juventus have opened talks with Manchester United for the player who has two years left on his Manchester United contract.
Despite his impressive loan campaign with Borussia Dortmund in the 2023-24 season, Futballnews understands the English forward has yet to settle his beef with United manager Erik ten Hag.
Following the Dutchman’s contract renewal with United, it is understood Sancho doesn’t have a future at the club as things stands. He will apparently relish a move to the Turin-based oufit to continue his career.
Meanwhile, the 2023-24 Serie A runners-up are understood to be strongly in the race for the player and are hopeful of parting ways with Italy 26-year-old forward, Federico Chiesa, to raise funds for the deal.
Manchester United ready for a second attempt for Jarrad Branthwaite
Despite the initial setback, Manchester United are still hopeful of adding Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite to their defensive options for next season.
Recall the club had their £37million initial bid for the player turned down by Everton. The Merseyside outfit want as much as £70million for Branthwaite. According to The Mail, Manchester United will launch another bid for Branthwaite but will hold discussion internally for the next possible offer.
Branthwaite, 22, has agreed on personal terms with United on a five-year deal but will await his club Everton’s sanctioning for a move to happen.
Also, Mason Greenwood is dominating the headlines as European clubs prepare for pre-season campaigns.
After returning from his loan spell with Getafe, United have yet to broker a deal for the youngster’s transfer exit. Meanwhile, it is understood the club want a permanent transfer for him this summer. Now, according to the Mirror, Greenwood wants his future to be settled as soon as possible amidst interest by different clubs for his services.
