Mohamed Salah was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the 2023 summer transfer window, with Al Ittihad reportedly tabling an offer of £150 million, which was rejected by Liverpool.

Reports indicate that the Saudi Pro League club are still interested in signing the Egypt international, as they see him as the biggest player from the Arab world, and they want to make him one of the poster boys of the league.

The 31-year-old joined Liverpool from Italian club AS Roma on July 1, 2017, for a fee of €42 million.

    Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool?

Meanwhile, Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Kylian Mbappe, and the reports that they are hoping to capitalize on the Frenchman’s uncertainty at Paris Saint Germain.

The reports also indicate that Liverpool have a healthy relationship with the entourage of Mbappe, having tried to sign him from AS Monaco in 2017.

Kylian Mbappe recently finished third in the 2023 Ballon rankings, falling behind 2nd place Erling Haaland and eventual winner Lionel Messi.

A potential move whatsoever to the Premier League will be box-office, as it could be a replica of the Ronaldo-Messi rivalry in La Liga, with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

    Liverpool interested in Kylian Mbappe

Liverpool were rumored to be going for Kylian Mbappe in the summer, but due to PSG’s insistence to keep him in Paris, they refused to take their interest further.

He was also linked with a world-record £257 million move to Al Hilal and a possible transfer to Real Madrid, however, both rumors didn’t see the light of the day.
