For the sake of the innocent kids who are now enjoying swell moments with their busy fathers who used to away every weekend for football games; we would have prayed that the coronavirus continues to flourish. However, for the sake of peace, sanity, and safety of the entire world, we pray that the virus is curtailed sooner than expected.

It seems the coronavirus break in the world of football has taught many footballers to be a better father to their children and husband to their wives. The break which has affected all sporting activities including training has given many football stars the luxury of time to spend with their family especially their kids. Tottenham Hotspur winger, Erik Manuel Lamela was seen in a recent picture having a nice time with his son, Tobias, in a bath tube.

The kid, Tobias couldn’t hide his excitement as he’s been thrilled by his dad. It is worthy to know that the Argentine winger got married to his long-term girlfriend Sofia Herrero back in 2017 and had his child in the same year.

The 28-year-old winger signed a record deal with Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 worth about £25.7m. Reasonably, he makes a whopping sum of £80,000 weekly which amounts to about £320,000 on a monthly basis.

He has appeared in over 146 games and has scored 16 goals. In 2019, Erik Lamela featured at the final of the Champions League when Tottenham Hotspurs made to the final stage against Liverpool Fc, which the game ended in favor of Liverpool.

Interestingly, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool Fc has suffered a bad fate in their Champions League campaign this year. Tottenham Hotspur has been defeated out of the Champions League competition for this season. The English team was defeated by German team, Leipzig Fc. Similarly, Liverpool Fc was also defeated by Athletico Madrid which put a sudden end to the Champions League campaign of the defending champion.
