Speaking during the award ceremony, the England international said: “Success now would be winning all three – La Liga and the Champions League with Real Madrid and Euro 2024 with England.

“We’re still got a few more games to wrap up La Liga and then we’ve got two very difficult games against Munich.”

He also has his sight on helping England win its first major honor since the 1966 FIFA World Cup, with the European Championship set to go down in the summer.

Jude Bellingham added: “And then for the Euros, hopefully we can take our form from the last few tournaments into that and push on and do one better. It takes a lot of work and a lot of sacrifice and hopefully we can do it.”

The former Birmingham City man also touched on his goal against Barcelona, expressing that it had been the sweetest of all his goals for Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old said: “It was a really special feeling.

“You kind of lose all control of your body and the normal senses that go through your head.

“You just lose control of them really but it’s something that I really enjoy doing and hopefully there will be more moments like that.”

The midfielder also shared that being at the award ceremony alongside many great “athletes and inspirational people is a real pleasure”, with the topping being to win something amongst several star names.

Bellingham is also hoping to keep making lovely “memories” with Los Blancos and the national team of England.

Real Madrid Great Raul Gonzalez Extols Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid great Raul Gonzalez also had great words to say about Jude Bellingham, tagging the Englishman as a “mature player” who looks like a veteran already.

Raul said: “Jude is such a mature player. He looks like a veteran already, as if he’s been at Real Madrid for a long time, not just a few months.

“The fans love him because of the way he is and how he plays, his ability to give something extra and connect with people. That is something special.”

Bellingham is also now the favorite to win the Ballon d’Or due to his swashbuckling displays with Real Madrid.

He currently leads the way for many bookmakers, with Jude Bellingham even being ahead of PSG and France Kylian Mbappe, alongside international teammate and Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane.

If the ex-Borussia Dortmund player clinches the individual honor, he would become the first English player to win the award since Michael Owen in 2001.

Bellingham has scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Tennis great Novak Djokovic was handed the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year.
