Premier League announces fixtures to be televised in April and adjustments made

    The ever reverberating and enthralling top flight league in England, the English Premier League have released the list of fixtures which would be televised in the month of April.

    Manchester City and Liverpool battle

    It begins with a magnificent showdown between two heavyweights in recent years – Manchester City and Liverpool slug it out on the first of April and the encounter would be televised. 

    Other notable television selections comprises Newcastle United against Manchester United on April 2, a day after the Manchester City and Liverpool game.

    Liverpool battle Chelsea on the fourth (4th) of April and Liverpool host Arsenal on the ninth (9th) of April and Manchester United play Chelsea at Old Trafford on the 22nd of April.

    Relegation battles to be televised

    Several possible relegation clashes will also be televised, including The Saints Southampton against The Cherries Bournemouth in addition to The Peacocks Leeds United VS The Foxes Leicester City on the 25th of April. 

    There are no prices for guessing that the game which has the potential to decide where the pendulum of the Premier League title would swing will also be televised. 

    Manchester City and Arsenal would battle in a fierce encounter at the Etihad on the 26th of April, 2023.

    The last weekend of action in the Premier League for the month of April starts with a crunch tie between two sides based in London.

    Crystal Palace vs West Ham United which is the early kick off on the 29th of April would be televised alongside the gigantic clash of the day between Arsenal and Chelsea at 5:30pm.

    Arsenal’s 1-0 victory against Chelsea (first leg 2022/23)

    A pulsating encounter on Super Sunday between Fulham and Manchester City alongside Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will go down on the 30th of April and will also be televised. 

    On the first of May, Monday Night football sees Everton FC go up against Leicester City. 

    Several matches could still be changed as it is based on how some teams fare in European competitions or other Cup competitions.

    The amendments made to some fixtures in the Premier League

    Several fixture adjustments have also been done for six (6) of the seven (7) presently postponed games.

    Those matches include AFC Bournemouth against Brighton and Hove Albion, Leeds United vs Nottingham Forest

    Leicester City’s battle against Aston Villa as well Chelsea FC vs Liverpool FC, Manchester United vs Brentford and West Ham United vs Newcastle United.

    Those set of matches will be played on the fourth (4th) of April and the fifth (5th) of April. 

    And in customary fashion, every encounter on the final day of the Premier League season will begin at 4.30pm to avoid conflicting with the Play-Off Final of League one. 

    Those matches in the English Premier League (EPL) will occur on the 28th of May, 2023. Nonetheless, the selected matches to be televised for the month of May have not been announced.
