The Frenchman completed a free transfer to Serie A giants Juventus on Monday, after spending six years in a second stint at Man United.

Note that Paul Pogba started his career with the Man United academy before moving to Juventus for free. After four seasons in Italy, Pogba returned to Man United for a 105 million euros ($116 million) transfer in 2016.

The Frenchman played 226 games for Manchester United, scoring just 39 goals in six years. He spent most of his time at the hospital while playing for Man United, but he won the World Cup with France in 2018.

Paul Pogba’s performance for France has always been amazing compared to what he delivered at Man United as their managers were unable to find his best role in the squad.

Speaking during his first news conference back in Turin, Pogba said: “I’m happy with the choices I’ve made, that’s life, sometimes you make decisions that don’t go as you would have liked. I’m happy with the years I spent at United: I grew up, I learned a lot, and I became a man. I don’t think I made a mistake.”

The 29-year-old was loved by the Juventus fans during his first time with the club and he helped the club to win four Serie A titles. Pogba also won two Italian Cups, and two Italian Super Cups, as well as earning a Champions League runner-up medal in 2015, before going back to England to join Man United.

Even though his performance throughout his stay at Old Trafford was below expectations, Juventus supporters are hoping to see the best Paul Pogba in their team next season. The French player is expected to bring back glory to the club following two consecutive disappointing seasons.

According to the midfielder, he is not under pressure to perform well at the club but he has faith in himself that he’ll do well again.

Paul Pogba also acknowledged that it was more than a dream to return to Juventus and he feels happy to be home.

He also revealed that he has spoken with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri when he was playing for United. This will also be the second time Allegri will be coaching Paul Pogba and they have a good working relationship.
